The short version: this website collects almost nothing, because it doesn't need to. Here's the complete picture.

What this site does NOT do

We say this first because it's most of the story:

• No analytics. No Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no session recording. We don't watch you browse.
• No cookies. The site sets no cookies — not even "essential" ones. There's no cookie banner because there's nothing to consent to.
• No forms. There is nothing on this site that asks you to type in personal information.
• No ads, no ad tech, no data sales. We have nothing to sell an advertiser, and we wouldn't.
• No browser storage. Nothing is saved to your device's local storage.

What actually happens when you visit

Hosting logs. The site is hosted on Vercel. Like virtually every web host, Vercel's infrastructure processes standard technical data to deliver pages — your IP address, browser type, and requested URLs. We don't use this data to identify visitors. Vercel's own practices are described in their privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Fonts and assets. Our fonts and 3D assets are hosted with the site itself — your visit doesn't ping a fonts service or any other third-party server.

If you email us

Our contact method is an email link. If you write to sherice@columbianagroup.com, we receive what you chose to send — your email address and your message. That's handled through our email provider (Google Workspace), used only to reply to you and carry on the conversation you started, and never sold or shared for marketing. If you'd like an old thread deleted, ask and we'll delete it.

If you become a client

Client projects involve more information — business details, site content, account access you grant us. That's governed by your project agreement, not this page. The principle carries over: we collect what the work requires, we protect it, and it's yours.

Children

This site is a business services site and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them — we don't knowingly collect much from anyone.

Changes

If the site ever starts doing more than what's described here (for example, if we add analytics), this policy gets updated before that change goes live, with a new effective date at the top.
